I moved to Leeds in 2018 and quickly realised how much the English community loves Spain — for holidays, for the culture, even for learning the language.

But something was missing. Yes, there were “Spanish” products around, but most of them felt industrial. They were not the ones I grew up with back home. The real flavours were hidden.

That’s why I founded Typical Spanish: to share the authentic products I know first-hand — foods and wines crafted by families, using recipes and traditions passed down for generations.

Typical Spanish means:
