Typical Spanish was born from a very simple feeling.
When I moved to the United Kingdom, I realised how much I missed the real Spain I grew up with. Not the postcard version, but the everyday Spain.
The villages, the family traditions, the care behind each product and the stories that give meaning to what we eat, drink and share.
I noticed that many Spanish products available here didn’t truly reflect that culture. They lacked the connection to people, to place, and to the way things are done back home.
That’s why I created Typical Spanish.
To bring a more honest, cultural and human way of experiencing Spain in the UK. Starting with carefully selected products, and with the idea of growing into something much bigger than a shop.

We work with producers who value patience, consistency and respect for nature, creating wines with identity, history and a genuine connection to where they come from.
